Amber Leaf and some friends of hers all worked together to keep us all refreshed and ready for anything. Quicksilver personally assisted Amp Atom in his lab while we all kept watch for something to happen. Daytime came and for a while, nothing did, but sure enough, as breeze in the air stopped, someone eventually showed up. A duo, in fact, but it was NOT the duo we were expecting or hoping for. I went to confront the problem myself. Though at first it just looks like one of them…Discord!

Discord: Hmm? Ah, look what we have here! A guard who is brave enough to step forward! How are you, Flash Sentry!?

Flash: Huh? How do you- No, never mind! Look! The Crystal Empire is on lockdown! You’re gonna have to go! NOW!

Discord: Aww come on! Be a pal! I’m friends with the Princess here!

Flash: Too bad! She’s not here! Now I’m gonna say this once more! Get lost! *Gets a call* Hmm? What is it, Amp?

Amp Atom: I’m detecting a massive Magic Signature right in front of you! Turn on your Aura Visor!

Flash: Huh?! *Turns it on and sees both Discord’s Magic Signature and one that is hidden from plain sight and in the shape of a large muscular centaur* No way! It’s… *Turns it off* You brought HIM HERE?!

Tirek: That’s a pretty interesting toy you got there! *Appears next to Discord* It’s been a long time, Phosphorus!

Flash: Phosphorus?!

Tirek: HMPH! You’re a lot smaller than I remember!

Phosphorus: (I can say the same about you! That time in Tartarus must not’ve been too kind to you!)

Flash: Wait, you two know each other?!

Phosphorus: (You’d be surprised how many people I know.)

Tirek: Quiet, equine!

Flash: Tch! *Points his spear at them* You’re in no position to be making orders! You’re not welcome here! And as for you, Discord… I can’t believe you would bring him here! Have you gone mad?!

Discord: Not mad! Just free! HAHAHAHAHA!!! So, Tirek… How about we have a little fun time with the Crystal Ponies?!

Tirek: Sounds like a plan! *Steps forward and gets zapped by the barrier*AAAH!!! *Pulls back* WHAT IS THIS?!

Flash: You’re not getting in here! This barrier was strong enough to blow King Sombra to bits! And you two morons are no different from him!

Discord: I take offense to that! And I’m sure my admirers would too!

Flash: I don’t care! You’re not getting in! End of story!

Tirek: Indeed… *Takes an inhale with a glowing orb over his head with nothing happening* The Crystal Heart’s magic is indeed very powerful… It’s even able to resist my absorption! Discord, try to break it!

Discord: Very well! *Cracks knuckles and tries to break it with various magic spells, but gets no results* Nope! Nothing!

Flash: You convinced yet?! Good! Now go away! The Crystal Empire is no place for demons and traitors!

Phosphorus: (Though there is one place you CAN go where you’re welcomed! Try Tartarus!)

Tirek: Been there, done that! I have a better idea! How about you come out here and face us?!

Discord: Unless you’re a chicken!

Flash: Oh please! How stupid do you think I am?!

Amp Atom: *Still on the call* Flash! You need to get back here right now!

Phosphorus: (Well, Tirek, it was “nice” to see you again, but we gotta get going!)

Flash: There are many battles that I’m willing to face. This one ain’t one of them! You can try and wrestle with the Crystal Heart all you like, but you’re not getting in here no matter what! You may as well leave! As for me, I’m heading back! Later, jerks!

Phosphorus: (Hmph!) *Vanishes*

Tirek: What’s this?! You would turn your back to a challenge?! That’s quite unlike you, Phosphorus.

Flash: *Continues walking away and looks back with a smirk* You mad?

Discord: Hmph! What a cowardly little pony he is! Then again, he does have the right idea, hiding behind this shield that an age old relic created!

Flash:…..(I’m not a coward… I’m just not an idiot who foolishly puts his people’s lives at risk!)

Discord: He must feel rather secure in there, knowing that EVERYONE that he cares about is in there with him away from us!

Flash:…..*Hears that and flinches*…..

Discord: It would be a shame if there was somepony somewhere OUT HERE and not IN THERE where it’s safe! Like perhaps…friends…a special somepony…or heaven-forbid…FAMILY?!

Flash: (He’s… I know what he’s getting at… Don’t tell me…)

Discord: OH! Look at that! I’m not sensing any of them in there at all! Just a bunch of Crystal Ponies! The rest must be elsewhere!

Flash: *Gets angry and rushes at the edge of the shield and stops short* DON’T YOU EVEN DARE!!! If you even THINK of going anywhere NEAR them, I’LL WIPE YOU OFF THE FACE OF THE PLANET!!!

Discord: Ah, so they ARE outside! I was just taking a wild guess!

Flash: Wh-What?!

Discord: Thanks for confirming it for me! It’s so hard for me to sense anything beyond that shield! Gotcha, boy!

Tirek: Well played, Discord! Well, it has indeed been fun! So long! We’ll be on our way! And once I have enough power, I will be back to finish the job here! That shield may be strong, but it’s not invincible! Just you wait! You’re welcomed to try and stop me if you truly care THAT MUCH for your loved ones! But you already know what will happen if you do! *Eyes glow yellow and they both take their leave*

Flash:…What have I just done…?!
