Flash: *Sees some glowing dots on a radar-like thing* Dots… Is this all?

Amp Atom: Do you know what those dots are?! Those are Magic Signatures!

Flash: Huh?!

Amp Atom: This contraption right here is a sophisticated radar of Equestria itself! With these monitors around here as well as this radar, we are able to keep track of the activity going on in Equestria so we can see what’s going on everywhere in case of an emergency! And look at what’s going on right now! *Points at a red dot slowly approaching several other dots and making them disappear into it, making it slightly bigger* Did you see that?!

Flash: Did it just…eat another Mag-Sig?!

Amp Atom: *Turns on one of the monitor screens* We need to see a replay of this! *Shows a pony with a basket full of oranges getting taken by a cloaked creature*

Stallion: Oh! Very sorry, eheheh… You came out of nowhere!

Amp Atom: We need to inform Princess Cadence and Prince Shining Armor about this!

Flash: Just when I thought things were getting too peaceful… Alright! Keep a record on that! I’ll go get them!

By the time we got to them, though, they were already on their way out the door to head to Canterlot. There was no time for sleep apparently. Every other guard was already assembled as well. Ironically, I was the last to show up.

Shining Armor: Flash! Good, you’re here!

Flash: Yeah! Glad I found you! Amp and I found something! It’s an emergency and you really need to-!

Cadence: We already know what it is. There’s a magic-stealer on the loose! My aunts informed me of it so we’re heading to Canterlot to try and help with the problem.

Flash: Right! I’m on it!

Shining Armor: No, Flash! You’re staying here!

Flash: Huh?!

Shining Armor: The Crystal Empire is to be put on lockdown until we return! No demons come in, nopony goes out! Understand?! We’re dealing with a top priority threat and we need every guard at the ready to protect the empire at all costs!

Flash: But won’t you need help?!

Shining Armor: We’ll have plenty of it when we get there. Now no more questions! We are leaving now! I’m counting on you, Flash!

Cadence: Don’t worry! We’ll be back as soon as we can!

Flash:…*Nods and salutes* UNDERSTOOD! *Sees them leave* Please be careful…

Steel: *Steps over to Flash* I know how you feel. I wanted to go too.

Flash: It’s not just a want, though. I feel like we need to be there to help!

Steel: Well, sorry. But orders are orders.

Flash: *Sighs* Yeah, you’re right… *Sees the barrier appear around the perimeter of the empire outside* Hmm?

Steel: The barrier’s in place. Better get some coffee. We’re gonna be up for a while and we’ll need our energy! Alright, men! It’s breakfast time and once we’re done it’s off to our stations! Let’s move!

Flash: I feel like I’m missing something, though… Something about this doesn’t seem right!
