Amp and I headed inside the palace and are greeted by Prince Shining Armor. The time came for me to give my report, so I did. I told him everything that happened in detail, all the while feeling admittedly pretty down. Chief and Amp could hardly believe it, but yeah, all of that did happen, though I asked them to keep it between us for the time being. Nopony else had to know. Besides, everypony in the empire was still recovering from the whole deal with Sombra so the last thing they needed to hear was that he almost came back AGAIN! So we all agreed to keep it a secret for the time.

Shining Armor: No way!

Amp Atom: You mean to tell me that-!

Flash: *Covers their mouths* NOT SO LOUD! And yes, everything that I just told you was what happened. The only ones that know exactly what went on today are you two, me, and Lt. Steel. I suppose if you feel Princess Cadence should know of this as well, then that’s your call.

Shining Armor: All circumstances are understood. It’s too bad things didn’t go quite as well as planned.

Amp Atom: The team’s coordination seems rather off. They just seem to act on their own without any guidance or proper direction. It’s as if they just did not care of the mission at all! More like that they would rather throw their lives away and they saw the mission as a means of doing so.

Shining Armor: That seems kind of morbid! Jumping to extremes, Amp?

Amp Atom: Well considering the circumstances that they were still recovering from and the possibilities that some of them, if not all, were involved in some things that they are so full of regret, it is possible that they could have thought of it.

Shining Armor:…

Flash: Well, most of them did. Lt. Steel was the only one of them that didn’t want to just stop short like a scared rabbit. Instead, he just threw caution to the wind and attacked with every ounce of rage that he had.

Shining Armor: That’s a foolish choice. I taught you that myself, Flash.

Flash: And I had to pass it on to him.

Amp Atom: It’s true, sir! I saw Flash pretty much chew them all out when they arrived! You should have seen how angry he was! He almost reminded me of your old drill sergeant!

Flash: Well, point is, that’s all of it. Fortunately, I don’t think that menace will ever be coming back!

Shining Armor: Well…at least we also know it was thanks to both you and Steel finally working together. I always noticed how much of a loner that guy was. He hardly ever talked and whenever I asked him for reports, he just gave me the direct and brief versions then asked “Will that be all?”, never wanting to socialize with anypony.

Flash: I can see why though. I can’t really blame him…knowing what he’s had to go through.

Amp Atom: Indeed. But at least this means that we can probably trust him to keep what he knows a secret.

Shining Armor: Yeah. The guy’s as tough as a vault door! And I’m talking those gigantic ones!

Amp Atom: That is true, however, I- *Gets interrupted when the door opens and the messenger scout, Quicksilver appears and seems to be panicking* Huh?!

Quicksilver: DR. ATOM! SIR! Oh! Prince Shining Armor! Please excuse my interruption!

Shining Armor: It’s fine, go ahead!

Quicksilver: Doctor! There has been an accident in the lab! Please hurry!

Amp Atom: Oh dear! I…er…

Shining Armor: Go where you’re needed, Doctor!

Amp Atom: Oh! Of course! Lead the way, Quicksilver!

Quicksilver: Thank you, Doctor! This way!

Amp Atom: We’ll continue later, Flash!

Flash: Okay! Later!
