Flash: Huh? *Sees his Element of Justice glowing* What’s this?

Amp Atom: I never thought I’d see THAT side of you, Flash!

Flash: Amp?!

Amp Atom: I’m guessing the mission went well?

Flash: *Sigh* To be perfectly honest…it could’ve gone better.

Amp Atom: Well c’mon. Perhaps you’ll feel better after some rest.

Flash: Yeah. But first, I have to report back to the chief.

Amp Atom: Of course. OH! But first, can you please give me your helmet?

Flash: Hmm?

Amp Atom: I couldn’t get any response from it at some point during the mission when we cut off.

Flash: Oh yeah… *Takes off helmet and gives it to him* Here. Sorry about that. The visor still works, at least. I was able to handle the battle with it.

Amp Atom: Ah, just as I thought… It got damaged out there. Well, it was just a prototype. I’ll have to make the new version more durable. Don’t worry, Flash! I’ll have it upgraded by tonight!

Flash: Thanks, Amp.

Amp Atom: So what DID happen out there?

Flash: If you wanna know, follow me. You can hear it with Chief.

Amp Atom: Okay. Lead the way. But afterwards, you think we should get something to eat?

Flash: Yeah. That would be a good call, wouldn’t it?

The last mission ended in success… though there wasn’t much of a hoof-pumping to be had for the victory. I was way too out of it. All I could give was a sigh of relief that it was finally over. For the first time since my first battle against Ka’ah, I can’t say I was feeling anything of satisfaction with the victory. Maybe it was just everything that went with it from me scolding somepony for the first time in my life to almost causing everypony to die to… I still really don’t know. I wish I did.
