Flash:………*Snaps awake* Huh? Wh-What? *Looks around and it’s pitch dark* What the?! Hey! Where am I?! I can’t see a thing!

I felt around to get some kind of clue of where I was. I felt some bits of rock everywhere I stepped. Some of them were smooth like crystals, others were rough like crag. I felt the dirt under my hooves as well. It was then that I realized that I was stuck in a sealed room in a cave! There was no light, no way in, and no way out. This was bad! I needed to get out as fast as possible!

Flash: Hello?! HELLO?!?! Great… I lost a duel against a major threat, I fell for one of the dumbest tricks ever, and to top it all off, I’m trapped here and I don’t see any signs of getting out. What do I do?!..... Think, Flash! What would your friends do? Amp would probably think of a way to survive long enough to be rescued while trying to call for help… Bass would probably use some kind of soundwave magic to bust down the walls, though now that I think about it; wouldn’t it just echo around and blast his ears? Anyways, what about anyone else? Drum… he and Heavy would probably try to force their way out. They’d start kicking at the walls until they broke it down. Well, I can’t use magic without my spear… so what’s left for me to do? *Puts his ear next to a wall and knocks on it to find a soft spot* The chief always taught us to find the right weak point in any defense. And Amp told me that even the toughest of surfaces had a soft spot. So what if… *Knocks around some more until he hears a different sound* Bingo! *Starts kicking at it with his front hooves* Time to get out of here! HAAH!!! HAAAPH!!! C’MON! *Keeps kicking, but not making much progress* BREAK DOWN! I! NEED! TO! GET! OUT! OF! HERE!!! LET ME OUT!!!

I kept pounding at the wall hoping that eventually my hooves would break through. Unfortunately, it showed no signs of breaking despite everything I gave. I just barely regained at the very least a decent amount of energy back after my last fight and I was in a panic. The only reason I was able to breathe is because there were tiny cracks around that were only big enough to let air in. I had to get out of there as fast as possible! If I didn’t, I still shudder to think what would’ve happened. What a time to be without my trump card…

Flash: COME ON! I can’t be stuck HERE! *Hits it again* My people need me! LET ME OUT OF HERE! *Hits it harder* HAAAAGH!!! *Hits it repeatedly some more until at he gets really tired from constantly pounding at the wall and starts panting again* Ngh… Huff…huff… I can’t… I can’t give up… not here… not now… *Remembers all the trials that he had to face* Not when I’ve come this far… I finally made myself useful… I finally earned my place… I finally got the princess *Image of Celestia appears in his head* and the chief *Image of Shining Armor* to TRUST ME! *Hits it harder with every memory* I finally beat my father! *Blueblood* I surpassed my brother! *Comet Tail* I got to date my first girl! *Sunset Shimmer* I had a dream… A dream of a filly… MY FILLY! *Moonlit Spark* I have comrades who rely on me! *Heavyweight and Thunderclap* I have my friends to fight for! *Amp Atom, Drum Role, & Bass Keys* I have a bunch of promises to fulfill and prayers to make! *Advent Playwright* I have a little brother and a mom waiting for me back home! *First Base and Milky Way* I HAVE A FAMILY TO PROTECT!!! YOU CAN’T HOLD ME IN HERE!!! *Pierces through with a large bolt of lightning, leaving the room and causing the cave wall to crumble behind him* HAAAAGH!!!!!! *Panting while sparking* Huff… Huff…. And… I still have to find out… who am I going to have that filly with? *Image of Twilight Sparkle appears in his mind* Huh?! Why did THAT mare of all ponies spring to mind?!.....Not important right now! *Notices himself sparking* What’s this?! Electricity?! From where?! Could it be from the Lightning Spear… or from… *Sees the Element of Justice glowing*….. I see… I guess it’s finally time to shed some light! *Pulls it out of his armor and wears it on the outside so he can find his way around* I gotta get out of here! *Remembers that Moonlit said Cadence was down there as well* Oh right! The bride! She can’t be down here or she’ll miss the wedding! *Flies around to search for her* (But still… why Twilight? I mean sure, she’s at least grown up from before where she used to make fun of me at every turn… and well… I guess I did always think she was kind of cute… and… her… eyes……….No… It-It can’t be! Could it?!) I’ll… I’ll worry about that later! I have to focus!

And so I moved on from there and made it a priority to find Princess Cadence as fast as possible. Though even know I could see where I was going, I unfortunately didn’t really know. I didn’t know exactly where I was and I certainly didn’t know the way out! I tried breaking some other walls to make a pathway out, but some were a lot harder than others. In fact, it was lucky that I was put in that room in the first place since that one had one of the weakest walls there… and yet it still took a lot of energy to break through. I had no choice but to find a path out. I tried calling out, but didn’t hear any response. For all I knew, Cadence could’ve been on the other side of the mountain.
