Afterwards, when the Mane 6 arrives in Canterlot, they hurry up the mountain to confront the perpetrator. When they do, they see two dead Royal Guards and a silhouette standing in front of the rising green flames and smog.

Rainbow Dash: Here’s the problem! It’s another psychotic villain!

Pinkie Pie: Can’t we go a SINGLE STORY without having to deal with one of these?!

Fluttershy: Oh my! Look!

Applejack: These guards! They’re both… Why that no-good…

Rarity: Such good stallions! How dare he!

Twilight: Alright! Who are you?! Show yourself!

Shining Armor?: Ugh… more interruptions. Ah well. At least this time, it’s the ones I was hoping I’d meet eventually! *Turns around* What’s up, Twili?

Imagine this in a classic turn-based RPG battle. Yes, this story is taking that route this time. The battle begins and you may imagine it as you will. Only 3 ponies can be on one side of the field at a time. Armed with their Elements of Harmony, they take on the Pseudo Shining Armor, dealing as much damage as they can, strategically advancing and switching when they need to, and supporting each other with healing and morale. After enough damage is done to the shield, it is destroyed and then the face-off with the imposter really begins! After enough damage, the dupe uses his Overdrive attack to do massive damage to the group. The mares have to act fast to save themselves from the incoming Elite Gunge Lance. Continuing their strategy, they manage to defeat him! In his defeat, the faker flies back and slides over near the water with the green smog still shooting upwards. He gets up while cackling.

Shining Armor?: Huhuhuh… Hmhmhmhmhmhmhm…. Mother… you were right! They ARE an annoying bunch! Ngh… Heheheh… Good! This means that my revenge can actually be interesting! I was hoping this wouldn’t be too easy! Nicely done, ladies!

Twilight: I’ve had enough of you using my brother’s face and voice! Get rid of that disguise now and show us your true self!

Shining Armor?: Huhuhuhuh… Fine then! Fair enough! You DID defeat my disguise! But then again, I was holding back. You want to see my true self?! You want to know my true power?! Very well! *Bursts into a pillar of green flames* RAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!

Twilight: Just as I thought! Changeling!

Larva: Let me introduce myself in my own way! *Closes in on a silhouette in the flames as the Shining Armor disguise fades away in a similar matter of when Queen Chrysalis dropped her Princess Cadence disguise* Huhuhuhahhahahahahahhahah! When the gatekeeper of Tartarus asks you “Who sent you?” *Lowers to the ground and slowly looks up with a sinister grin with his jaw tearing open* Tell him… to his hideous mutt faces… that his name… *Opens his eyes with green flames* WAS CHANGELING PRINCE LARVAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!

Larva engages the team in the next round and just to make it more interesting, expresses his disdain and insanity by singing it in the melody of Zero.EXE’s Boss Theme from Megaman Network Transmission.

Larva does some damage to Pinkie and Twilight and knocks them back right before Fluttershy gets to him directly.

Fluttershy: *Grabs Larva and gives him the stare and a scolding* That’s QUITE enough! You have no right to hurt my friends! What would your mother think if she knew you did all this?!

Rainbow Dash: Uh… Fluttershy…

Twilight: You know who his mother is, don’t you?

Larva: Mother… What would she think? Huhuh… I don’t know about you, but I’d say she’d be very HAPPY! *Grabs Fluttershy and throws her against a large rock* HARGH!

Fluttershy: YAAAH!!! OOF! You don’t mean that! Do you?

Larva: *Pins Fluttershy at the stone with his hoof at her neck* You don’t get it, do you?! My mother gave me a final wish right before she died! I gave her my oath that I would carry it out! So I’d imagine she’s watching all this from the afterlife and laughing… and laughing… AND LAUGHING! HYAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

Applejack: LET HER GO! *Kicks him away and helps Fluttershy up* You okay, sugarcube?

Fluttershy: Uh-huh… But what mother would ask this of her child?

Applejack: A messed up, evil piece of limburger cheese of a mother, I’d say!

Larva: How dare you! You know NOTHING about my mother!

Twilight: Urgh… If she’s who I think it is, then we know plenty about her! It figures one of her little spawn would be just as messed up as she is! Queen Chrysalis always was good at messing with others like that!

Larva: SHUT UP! I will hear no more of my mother from you! You don’t deserve to speak her name!

After taking enough damage, he is down to less than half health and has lost all patience. He brings his power together to form a large green fireball above his head! He laughs like a maniac and throws it down to the mountain in an attempt to destroy it. Twilight takes this chance to quickly combine her magic power with the Elements of Harmony to send the blast right back at him! Upon taking the hit, Larva falls to the ground while set ablaze!

Larva: THAT’S IT! PLAYTIME’S OVER! GET READY TO DIE, PONIES!!! BEELZEBUB’S POWER! PLAGUE BOMB!!! GYAAAAAAH!!!! *Throws bomb*

Twilight: Not that again! Chrysalis used that power before!

Rainbow Dash: Yeah, but Sonic and Tails were able to shoot it back when she used it! So we can too!

Applejack: Now or never!

Twilight: Right! Everypony ready!?

Pinkie Pie: This meanie’s got issues! LAUGHTER!

Fluttershy: This has to stop! KINDNESS!

Rainbow Dash: Then let’s finish it! LOYALTY!

Rarity: No more of this Changeling nonsense! GENEROSITY!

The Elements of Harmony fire a rainbow-colored blast and push the giant fireball back at Larva with devastating results!

Larva: NGH! *Smirks* Heheh… GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!! *KA-BOOOOM!*

YOU’LL NEVER BE SATISFIED!!! YOU DOOMED US WHEN YOU CURSED MY MOTHER!!! THEN YOU… THEN YOU KILL ME!!! EXTINCTION! THAT IS ALL YOU’LL SETTLE FOR! YOU GIVE YOURSELF OFF AS LOVING PEACE! HARMONY! Applejack: Ah, zippit! Y’all got what was comin’ to ya! At least now we know you won’t be hurt’n none anymore! Ya shouldda just stayed away from Equestria and whatever happened to y’all wouldn’t’ve!

Rarity: It’s your own fault for trying to steal love from others!

Larva: YOU IDIOTS! THAT’S HOW WE CHANGELINGS WERE ABLE TO SURVIVE! BUT WHEN ONE OF YOU TOOK THAT POWER AWAY FROM US, WE ALL SUFFERED FAMINE AND PESTILENCE! WE DIED BECAUSE OF YOU!!!

Fluttershy: If it would make you feel better, we’re at least sorry for what happened to your family. We didn’t mean for anything really bad to happen.

Larva: DON’T YOU DARE GIVE ME PITY! I’M HERE FOR REVENGE! NOT SYMPATHY!

Rainbow Dash: Well too bad, bub! You already lost!

Pinkie Pie: Are you just gonna stand there while on fire? You should stop, drop, and roll before you cook yourself extra crispy! *Pinches nose* And you’re kinda starting to smell!

Twilight: You should save yourself and leave this place now! Forget your revenge, Larva! You’re already finished!

Larva: HUHUHUH… DO YOU REALLY THINK…THAT JUST BECAUSE YOU BEAT ME HERE…THAT MAKES ME FINISHED FOR GOOD?! PLEASE! THIS FIGHT WAS JUST A PART OF MY PLAN! I SAW YOU BEATING ME COMING! AND NOW FOR THE NEXT PHASE! *Explodes in the flames* RRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!! *A single green fireball appears out of the inferno and directly targets one of the ponies* ALRIGHT! NOW WHICH ONE OF YOU WILL BE MY PUPPET!? *Sees Twilight* PERFECT! *Charges at her* PAYBACK!!

Twilight: HUH?! AAAAH!!!

Applejack: TWILIGHT! LOOK OUT! *Pushes Twilight away and ends up taking the hit* AAAH!!! *Gets engulfed in green flames* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!! *Strange green markings appear all over her body as she burns until she falls to the ground and faints*

All: APPLEJACK!!!

Applejack: Ngh…. *Falls unconscious*

Fluttershy: No! What did he do?!

Rainbow Dash: A.J.! Hey! C’mon! This isn’t funny!

Rarity: We need to get her help now!

Pinkie Pie: This is bad! THIS IS BAD! THIS IS BAAAAD!!!

Twilight: Applejack! Say something! Speak to us! APPLEJACK!!!

Larva’s Voice: So… you took the attack for yourself?! Fascinating! I wanted the Alicorn Princess, but you’ll do just fine! Huhuhuhuhuh… HUHUHAHAHAH!!! HYEAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAAAAH!!!!
