TWILIGHT CHAPTER 5~ THE DEEPEST DEPTHS

TARTARUS ZONE ACT 3
~Unwanted Sunshine

The three heroes move through the dark cave area they were in with a shifting background that looks like a flashing of a bunch of blue hedgehog figures with hideous faces and pointed fingers, then a smiling demonic face with a red glowing gem, and images of Sonic and all of Twilight's friends facing what looks like a dark alicorn figure and Eggman as a silouette in the moonlight and losing. These sights frighten them a bit, but they have to keep going no matter what.

After that run through nightmare lane, they exit the tunnel and find themselves out in the middle of a grassy road that looks like... Green Hill Zone?

~What In The World?!

Tails is confused. This is from his world, but something just isn't right here. The 3 heroes have a bad feeling about this in their guts. But it only gets worse when they advance forward to see a bunch of dead forest animals. This sight shocks them all, Fluttershy especially! She loves most animals, especially cute little forest animals. This scene of them supposedly killed almost completely traumatizes her. Though as they pass by them, they start to vanish. As if they were never there to begin with.

They eventually make it to the end of the road, they approach a spikey blue figure. It's Sonic! Tails slows down to walk up to them, but when he does and tries to get his attention, Sonic opens his eyes and has black corneas and red pupils on him and freaky smile on him with a laugh that sounds a bit like Kefka Polazzo from [Final Fantasy VI]. He turns his attention to Tails and asks-

Sonic: Do you want to play with me?

Tails: Sonic? Are you feeling okay? You don't seem quite right?

Sonic.EXE: Heh... You better start running.

HIDE AND SEEK
~You're Too Slow, Wanna Try Again?

The hills burst into flames and the heroes start running from the demon-like Sonic as he counts from 10-1. When he reaches 1, he laughs and starts chasing after them in a flying form while drowning music plays as he gets closer and closer to them. The demon is too fast and can't be outrun. Twilight is prepared, however, she isn't about to let him catch them. As he draws close, she fires a single charged blast at him and stops him in midair.

Fluttershy: NO! DON'T COME NEAR ME! NO! NO! NOOO!!! TWILIIIIGHT!!!

Twilight: GET AWAY FROM HER! TAKE THIS! *Fires and hits*

Sonic.EXE: GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!! *Wrapped in an electrica surge and laughs again followed by an explosion in a burst of fire and smoke* WAHA WAHOHOHOHOHOOOOH!!! *BOOOM!!!*

?????: YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE DONE THAT...

Tails: What?! No... That voice! It can't be...

?????: *Appears out of the smoke as Tails' old enemy* TAAAAAAAAAAILS.....

Tails: It's you! Tails Doll!

Tails Doll: CAN YOU FEEL THE SUNSHINE.....

Twilight: Who is that?! Tails, that looks like you!

Fluttershy: Why was it trying to hurt us?

Tails: I didn't ever want to see you again!

Tails Doll: TAILS... IT'S BEEN SO LONG. HOW MUCH HAVE YOU GROWN SINCE THE TIME YOU WENT AND KILLED ME?!

Twilight: Tails?! You know him?!

Fluttershy: You killed him?

Tails: I had no choice! You had what was coming to you! You tried to kill me and my friends! Then you haunted my nightmares! You tried to kill me there too! Whatelse was I supposed to do?!

Tails Doll: NOTHING WILL HELP YOU THIS TIME. YOUR RING IS DEAD. YOUR NIGHTMAREN FRIEND IS GONE. ALL YOU HAVE WITH YOU ARE TWO MORE VICTIMS.

Tails: You really should've just stuck with racing! You wouldn't be like this if you did!

Twilight: Tails... Who or what is he?

Tails: He's a cold piece of trash made by Eggmn who was at first just made for racing. But he eventually malfunctioned and became a sadistic being that somehow gota hold of some crazy powers over the psyche of any living being. I beat him in my nightmare years ago. I thought he'd be gone for good after that.

Twilight: It's unbelievable. He looks so muc like you, but he seems so evil I can't even look at him without getting a shivering feeling all over!

Tails: We may look alike now, but under that harmless looking plush-toy body hides a demon of an obscene amount of hate and cruelty! We're nothing alike. Fitting, though. I should've known he'd show up here!

Tails Doll: WHERE ELSE WOULD I HAVE GONE?! BUT THAT IS ALL IN THE PAST! YOU SEEMED TO HAVE RETAINED YOUR MORTALITY. GOOD. NOW I CAN HAVE THE LONG-AWAITED REVENGE I'VE BEEN PRAYING FOR!

Tails: Twilight. Protect Fluttershy and get out of here! Don't try to help me. I'll deal with him myself!

Twilight: Are you out of your mind?! You can't beat him yourself!

Tails: Of course I can! I've done it twice already. Besides, I couldn't live with myself if I let you two of all beings get involved with our feud. This is between me and him. Let's go, Dolly! I'll beat you again and we'll be leaving!

Tails Doll: IN TARTARUS, MY FURY IS ETERNAL. YOU WILL NOT WIN! WITH YOU STILL ALIVE, I WILL FINALLY HAVE MY SATISFYING REVENGE! DON'T DIE TOO SOON. I WANT TO HAVE THE MOST FUN OUT OF YOU THAT I CAN!

Tails: I'm not going your way, Tails Doll! YOU'RE GOING YOUR WAY ALONE!
