FINAL STORY CHAPTER 8~ THIS COULD BE THE LAST TIME

EQUESTRIAN RING ZONE ACT 3
~The Ring In The Sky Keeps On Turnin'

Tails takes off from Canterlot and heads off to the Frozen North of Equestria to find the Tornado 7 again. On the way, he gets intercepted by flying enemies, but has some Royal Guards and even the Wonderbolts helping out to get them off his back! Tails concentrates on getting as many Rings as he can while flying incredibly fast. He's been working on his speed rather well. He sees Sonic down below and calls him up while he's running.

Tails: Hey, Sonic! Did you find any trace of Discord anywhere?

Sonic: Not yet, unfortunately! We better soon! I wanna give him a piece of my foot in that stupid looking face of his!

Tails: Easy, Sonic! We'll get him soon! And when we do, we'll get those Emeralds back!

Sonic: Cool! So did ya find the Tornado yet?

Tails: *Looks down* That's affirmative! I'm getting it back now!

Sonic: Alright! Then hurry back! By the way, Eggman's caught on to us! He's sending his little bots in giant mechs after us! Just giving ya that heads up!

Cubot appears right as Sonic says it and is equipped with a huge Pegasus Mech. He activates his megaphone.

Cubot: HI THERE, TAILS! IMMA BLAST YA!!!

Tails: Whoa… he wasn't kidding.

Sonic: Tails? Ya there?

Tails: Copy that. He just showed up! And it's the crazy one… *Sigh* Always the crazy ones…

Sonic: Ya want some help?

Tails: Nah! I got this! You just hurry back to Canterlot! I'll deal with this and be back as fast as you can say "Gotta Juice!" Tails Out! *Signs off and flies down to the plane to start it up* Alright, Cubot! It's Go-Time!

Cubot: BEFORE I TAKE Y'ALL RIGHT OUTTA THE SKY, TELL ME! WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE EPISODE?!

Tails: *Takes off* "Hurricane Fluttershy"! Why?

Cubot: CAUSE' IMMABOUTTA ROCK Y'ALL LIKE A HURRICANE!!!!!

Tails: That song has a bad word in it! *Transforms the plane into battle mode* Let's hit MY music instead! *Plays "Fallen Colony" from [Tekken 6]* You're going down!

Cubot: LET'S GET-A-LONG, YA LITTLE VARMINT!!!

BOSS- TAILS (TORNADO 7-Harrier Mode) VS. CUBOT (E.G.G. S.T.O.R.M. R.U.N.N.E.R.)

Similar to the EGG-PEGASUS fight from the beginning, this boss a flying dogfight between the Tornado 7 and the giant flying Horse Mech. Though this time, its attack style is much different. It flies all over the place at a high speeds and for the most part, it stays in front of the plane rather than beside it. This boss plays out in a combination of both the [NiGHTS and Space Harrier styles]. It leaves behind a trail of light that Tails can fly through to keep up with it. Tails can either shoot rapid fire Vulcan missiles at it or lock onto its targets and fire homing missiles similar to [Panzer Dragoon] at them to slow it down. It is here where Tails can charge, spin, and drill right into one of its engines while in Spiral Mode.

Tails: Gotcha!

Cubot: YEAAAAARGH!!! AI… YA BE FAST FER A LITTLE YELLOW VULPINE, BUT I AIN'T BE ANYWHERE NEAR DONE YET! ARGH!!!

Tails: Wasn't he just talking like a cowboy? Now he's a pirate?

Tails and Cubot begin to fire rapid shots at each other as the EGG-STORM RUNNER eventually turns around and tries to charge at the Tornado. It is here where Tails has to perform that same Drill Dash move to deflect the charging Pegasus Mech upwards. With it flipped over his head, Tails jumps out of the plane and throws his Ring at one of the metal plates, revealing one of the weak spots. Flying back to the plane and taking flight in it again, he turns around and heads straight back to it and fires homing missiles into it until it is destroyed.

Cubot: AAAAAAH! YO! THAT AIN'T COOL, DAWG! NOW I'M TICKED! HERE'COMES, SON! GO GETT'M, BOYS! *Sends out EGG-ASAI to attack and swarm Tails in various patterns*

Tails: How many accents is he gonna use? Next thing you know he's gonna start talking like a gangster! *Sees the metal pegasai surrounding him* Uh-oh!

The Wonderbolts fly in and help clear the metal pegasai out of Tails' way.

Soarin': We got these small guys!

Surprise: They're friends of ours, and they're invited to a party!

Spitfire: We'll talk about parties later! You take care of the big one while we take care of this! GO! GO! GO!

Tails: YES, MA'AM! *Activates Speed-Up Engines* Hey, Cubot!

Cubot: DANG!

Tails: GET A LOAD OF THIS!!!! *Drill Dashes into the mech and jumps out of the plane to board onto its back after setting the plane to auto-pilot*

Cubot: OW!!! C'MON, MAN! YOU'RE BUSTIN MAH BOLTS OVER HERE!!!

Tails: (Called it…) *Runs up to Cubot's cockpit* Tell your boss Tails said: GO DOWN, MONSTER! YOU DON'T BELONG IN THIS WORLD! *Spin Dashes into Cubot and knocks him right out of his seat* HA!!!

Cubot: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!! OKAY!!!! *Teleports*

K.O.!

Tails: And to take care of this! Ready, Angel?

Angel: As I always have! Let-a-rip!

Tails: *Tears the whole bot apart with the Angel's Ring and destroys it and jumps off onto the plane as it flies by with the Wonderbolts finishing it off and getting all the ponies out of it to safety* Time to go! You all have the pony situation under control?

Spitfire: You know it! Nice work, by the way! What's your name?

Tails: Miles Prower! But I go by "Tails"!

Spitfire: Not bad. Ever considered trying out?

Tails: For the Wonderbolts? I dunno. Don't I need to be a pony? *Hears the call from Sonic* Hmm? Hang on a sec! *Picks up* What's up, Sonic?

Sonic: I just saw the explosion! I guess you got the bot good!

Tails: You know it! Now I'm on my way! And I've got a bunch of new friends!

Sonic: Awesome! Don't waste any time! We gotta get going if we're gonna take on Eggman!

Tails: No need to tell me twice! I'll be there soon! Tails out! *Signs out* That was our team! We gotta head back to Canterlot on the double!

Fleetfoot: Care for a race then?

Tails: (This could be the last time we get to do something like this. May as well enjoy it!) You're on! One with the most Gold Rings by the end wins! Ready! Set! GO!

BONUS TIME! READY! GO!

Tails and the Wonderbolts race back to Canterlot at high speeds and collect a huge series of Rings. Tails essentially indirectly tricked them into helping him collect Rings by making a game out of it. They eventually make it back to Canterlot in record time and regroup with the rest of the team after they all managed to get back as well! The team is fully assembled and is ready for action! Sonic and Tails high-five and the whole group look up as Luna floats up into the air to give one last overview.
